The monthly fee pays the following years boiler service e.g. if you start the Warm Home Care Plan in July 2020, the 12 instalments pays for the boiler service which will be carried out in July 2021 after the final instalment is paid.
Yes, you can still be set you up on the monthly subscription, however you will have to pay the remaining balance on completion of the yearly service.
E.g. 6 months x £10 (Platinum +) = £60, remaining balance to be paid = £60 (including VAT)
Yes, the one-off payment can be made after we have completed the service/warm care home plan. You will then have the same level of service as per the care plan chosen.
It is a very simple and easy process, we will send you a email link via GoCardless, it will ask you for your details such as name and address, bank account number and sort code, then click the button to confirm. All you data is secured by GoCardless and all your information is protected on our systems as per current GDPR guidelines.
The plan is designed for a 12-month period, you can however cancel at any time during the year. If you have used any of the benefits from the plan during the year before you cancel no refund will be issued.
We cover all manufacturers of boilers; we only offer the plans on Natural Gas and LPG Boilers. Oil boilers are not currently covered under the plans.
CO2 alarms will protect you and your family from any unsafe situation, our engineers will offer to fit one of these if not present during the boiler service appointment at a small additional fee.
Our engineers will:
- Bleed the radiators
- Check that the radiators are getting warm
- Inspect general working condition of the system
We will not charge an emergency call out fee during our working hours 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, however our standard hourly fee will be applied.
You will be our priority for an emergency call out, this will be beneficial during the winters months if your boiler breaks down.
An unvented hot water tank is a hot water tank in your airing cupboard that provides you with mains pressure hot water. To identify if you have one of these you will not have cold water tanks in the loft, if you are unsure of your system design, please give us a call we will be happy to help identify this for you.
Our engineers will take a sample of the heating system water to check if corrosion is present, this will help prevent any future issues with the heating system. If we find the system to have signs of corrosion, we will advise the best method to rectify the issue. We offer heating system flush and inline magnetic filters to prevent this issue. This includes 10% discount off parts and labour on the first visit for works up to £500 per annum. There are no limitations on which type of works i.e. plumbing or heating.
Yes you can, your first payment will be taking within the first week of your direct debit being setup. After this point we can set a specific date to suit your needs.
Yes you do need to have an email address to setup your direct debit. However you can pay the service plan charge for a one off fee every year if you prefer.
